Overview
We have oversaw the concept development and design of the promotional visuals and tabloid for the reopening of Matsuzakaya Nagoya in August 2025.
Based on the perspective that “clothing is culture,” the campaign 'Kimono Douraku 2025 – Rewoven' was conceived by merging fall fashion with art. It visualises Matsuzakaya’s long-standing philosophy of connecting everyday life and culture, expressed through the sensibility of the season.
The project also reinterprets Kimono Douraku, a PR publication originally launched in 1906 by Ito Gofukuten, the predecessor of Matsuzakaya. Reconstructed as a contemporary tabloid, it weaves together fashion and art to propose a new form of cultural communication for today.
