Overview
Branding project for Kuwayama, a Japanese jewellery powerhouse that designs and manufactures an extensive range of products entirely in-house and also provides ODM/OEM for renowned brands in Japan and overseas. We undertook comprehensive creative direction: building brand strategy, refreshing the corporate identity, and the design of both the material book and chain book.
The material book is a curated collection of approximately 550 Kuwayama-made parts. Systematically organised by type, quality, and size, it is structured into four categories—PRESS PARTS, CUT BEADS, CUT WIRE / PIPE, and METAL PLATING—allowing for intuitive selection of parts.
The chain book was designed as an archive featuring approximately 300 high-quality chains, primarily in K18 and platinum.
Together, these tools are designed to inspire creativity among jewellery makers while enabling agile and efficient proposals through a clearly structured system. By combining a wide range of small components, they open up new possibilities for creative expression.
