Overview

When Takeo Co., Ltd, a renowned Japanese paper manufacturer, decided to hold an exhibition in London, they commissioned us to be in charge of concept development and design direction. Takeo had established its name as a brand among the top professionals in Japan for its excellent product quality and progressive attitude towards innovation. In London, it wanted to explore new possibilities and expand sales channels.

Under the theme of “Takeo rooted in London Culture,” the exhibition, held just before Christmas, was titled as “Cultures of Giving” and showcased special Christmas gifts made with a wide range of papers from Takeo. To set the scene, we created a story around an imaginary family with hidden personal stories about their gifts. This approach allowed us not only to present the practicality of Takeo’s products in everyone’s ordinary life but also to showcase the exceptional beauty of Takeo’s top fine paper at the same time. The exhibition was held at the Show Space by G . F Smith, a leading paper trading company in the UK.
